

Wednesday to speak with officers about false accusations being made against them by a neighbor. Officers spoke with two people at the police department at 7:35 p.m. He was given a warning due to officers not observing the violations. The vehicle was observed at a distance pulling into a driveway on East Third Street and officers spoke with the driver, advising him of the complaint. Thursday were advised of a vehicle operating recklessly at high rates of speed in the area of East Third Street and North Ellsworth Avenue. Officers on patrol in the 800 block of East Third Street at 12:06 a.m. Officers were able to apprehend the man where he was placed into custody by Perry Township officers. The driver then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The vehicle turned north on Sharp Avenue from Prospect Street then east on West Wilson Street, then turned southbound onto Norfolk Southern property alongside the railroad tracks on West Wilson Street. When officers arrived, they found Perry Township officers attempting to stop the person, and officers attempted to assist with the stop.

Officers were advised that a person had been attempting to flee in a vehicle and struck a tree. Thursday to assist Perry Township officers with a reported domestic in progress.
